Hwatu 48-card reference

A Hwatu deck has four cards for each of twelve months, 48 cards in total. Rather than memorizing which month holds Gwang or what color a Tti belongs to, a table is faster.

The table below is generated straight from the data our game engine uses, so the screen and the game never disagree.

Month names here are the commonly used ones. Some regions and sources name them differently.

What this page does not say

Scoring, multipliers, and how Double Pi is counted vary by region and ruleset. Some play the month 9 Chrysanthemum card as a Double Pi, others as a plain Yeol. So this page does not settle that; the values our game actually uses are listed separately on the rules page.

The card composition itself is a fixed fact, so it belongs here. What varies by ruleset does not.
